Symptoms
Some of the characteristics of FAS children are they are born with low birth weight. They often have small head circumference, and are defined as failure to thrive. These children display developmental delays in many areas. They may even have organ dysfunction requiring a lot of medical. FAS children have facial abnormalities such as smaller eye opening and flattened cheek bones.
