Needs

Some of the needs that FAS children have that they may have maybe smaller in body size according to their gestational age. Which would maybe make them smaller looking to their peers. As well one of the physical symptoms is the facial abnormalities such as they have small eye openings. These children may lack in poor coordination. They are hyperactive and have learning disabilities. They may also experience developmental disabilities such as delayed development in speech and language. Their IQ is low or may have mental retardation. They need support in problem solving and making everyday choices. During infancy these children may lack sleep routines. Which overall prevents trust and relationship building. These students need support and patience. So they can flourish in all the above mentioned issues.
