Accommodations

• Language extension: Engage in conversations that interest the student and build opportunities for the student to express themselves orally and animated gestures. Through this the teacher can provide and correct language and grammar spoken.

• Discussion: This is where students are encourage to interact with their peers

• Talking circles: This is done in an open ended discussion where feelings are shared and questions are asked. Such as show and tell. Through these types of activities trust and sense of security is built in the classroom

• Story reading: These are providing students to read or story tell stories in their first language and then retold in English.
