Dyslexia

Needs

Some of the needs dyslexic children have are difficulty with fine motor skills such as handwriting. As a teacher when planning a test or task allows for multiple choices or sorting questions which does not focus on handwriting. Allow the student ample time to complete task. Students need positive reinforcement and encouragement to build self esteem. They need one on one support with fine motor support at school and at home.
